Legoland Windsor Drops Puppet and Pirate Stunt Show Amid 2025 Budget Cuts

Recent reports indicate that LEGOLAND Windsor's Puppet Show and Pirate Diving Show will not return for the 2025 season due to budget cuts. This decision has led to the redundancy of some entertainment staff, as highlighted in a recent video featuring a former employee. The park's official entertainment schedule no longer lists the Puppet Show and Pirate Diving Show among its offerings.

This development coincides with a major reorganization at Merlin Entertainments, the parent company of LEGOLAND Windsor. In late 2024, CEO Scott O'Neil departed, and former COO Fiona Eastwood assumed the role of interim CEO. The company is restructuring its Resort Theme Parks, LEGOLAND Parks, and Gateway Attractions divisions on a regional basis to create "one united business" moving forward.

The cancellation of the Puppet Show and other entertainment offerings at LEGOLAND Windsor reflects the broader impact of these corporate decisions. While these changes are currently in effect, there is hope among the community that they may be temporary.
