Paw Patrol Rollercoaster Takes Shape with New Mountain Theming
Sunday 12th October 2025
Exciting developments are underway at Chessington World of Adventures as construction on the highly anticipated Paw Patrol-themed land continues to progress this October.

Work has now begun on mapping out the exit paths for the new rollercoaster, offering the first hints at how guests will flow through the area once the ride opens. Theming is also starting to take shape, with large rock mountain structures being installed around the coaster site, signalling the beginning of immersive environmental detailing.

Over near the Go Ape car park, hardware for one of the new flat rides has been delivered and can be seen on-site, a clear sign that more ride elements could be arriving soon. The footers for the rides appear to be fully completed, laying the foundation for vertical construction in the near future. Meanwhile, the new shop and toilet block structure looks to be finished externally and now appears waterproof, with only interior fit-out work remaining. However, there is still no sign of any rollercoaster track or support structures on-site just yet. With so many aspects of the land coming together quickly, it’s likely we’ll see further major developments in the coming weeks. Stay tuned for more updates as Chessington’s newest land continues to take shape.

Rollercoaster Station Framework Installed at Paw Patrol Land
Sunday 14th September 2025
Paw Patrol Land has moved on rapidly since our last update, with plenty of exciting progress to note. The framework for the rollercoaster’s station is now firmly in place, giving us the first real sense of the ride’s scale. Over by the supporting facilities, panels have been added to the shop and toilet building, bringing structure and form to the area.

Perhaps the most intriguing development is the new flat ride foundation that has appeared in the distance. The round base is much larger than anticipated, sparking speculation about what type of attraction might be installed there. Whatever it turns out to be, it’s sure to add even more variety to the lineup.

Although there are still no signs of rollercoaster supports or track just yet, the area is really beginning to take shape.

Paw Patrol Land Goes Vertical at Chessington
Sunday 10th August 2025
Big progress is being made at Chessington World of Adventures as work continues on their brand-new Paw Patrol Land.

The building structures for the new shop and toilet facilities have officially gone vertical, marking a major milestone in the project. Meanwhile, foundations for the upcoming rollercoaster are now complete, including three large themed element pads poured right in the centre of the ride area.

Pathway construction is also well underway, with brickwork already being laid around the coaster’s ride envelope, helping to shape the new land.

It won’t be long now before the rollercoaster’s track and supports arrive on-site — ready to be installed and bring this exciting new addition to life!

Paw Patrol Coaster Progress Continues at Chessington
Saturday 12th July 2025
Progress is well underway at Chessington World of Adventures as work continues on the highly anticipated Paw Patrol Land. The foundations and footings for the new family-friendly rollercoaster—set to be the star attraction in the revamped kids’ area—are now clearly visible, giving fans their first real glimpse of what's to come.

A substantial concrete base has been laid for the coaster’s station, suggesting vertical construction may not be far off. Elsewhere across the site, pipes have been installed, a large pile of rubble sits nearby. All a sign of the steady transformation as the old makes way for the new.

Paw Patrol Rollercoaster Foundations Now Visible
Saturday 21st June 2025
The brand-new Paw Patrol rollercoaster being built at Chessington World of Adventures has made some fantastic progress while we’ve been away from the UK.

Groundworks and footings for the rollercoaster are now well underway, and the layout of the ride is starting to take shape. While there's no sign of track or supports just yet, the construction site is already looking promising.

Across the rest of the new Paw Patrol area, piping has been installed and additional groundwork is in progress. The other rides set to open in the zone will be flat rides, so they won’t need quite as much groundwork as the coaster itself.

Opening in 2026, this new addition is shaping up to be an exciting expansion.
