The news is out – Minecraft World is coming to Chessington World of Adventures in 2027!

We're building a world-first, fully immersive Minecraft-inspired theme park land, inspired by the game’s most iconic biomes, mobs and items.

Minecraft-themed attractions, including a thrilling world first coaster
Interactive adventures
Epic blockbuilt playscapes
Themed retail & dining

Concept drawings for the new area have also been released, giving a first look at how the land could be laid out 👀 It also sounds like Microsoft has worked closely with gamers to help build real gameplay elements into the experience, bringing Minecraft to life in a whole new way.

This is massive for Chessington and pretty much confirms all the rumours that have been circulating over the past few months. A full land transformation like this is a huge investment, and tying it to a global game like Minecraft could really put the park back in the spotlight.

If done right, this could be one of the most immersive themed areas in the UK, especially for younger guests and Minecraft fans.
