A few weeks ago, it was believed that Scorpion Express at Chessington has a minor incident and caught fire, since then the ride has remained closed. The ride vehicles have since been removed and the exposed train can be seen in the photos below.
New signs have been added around the area explaining to guests that this ride will remain closed for now but should be back soon.
With this ride being so old, is there a chance the park might give up with this old ride and start planning bigger and better things to put in this space? It’s a huge section of land and we think a big family wooden rollercoaster could work well!
