Thorpe Park has today submitted a new planning application for the removal of Slammer which has been stood sbno since 2017. Meaning standing but not operating.
The removal of this old flat ride will leave a huge piece of land ready for something new to be installed in the future. This is the last ride left to be removed in the park which hasn't been open for a while, over the past few years the park has been working hard on removing old attractions which were no longer open. Such as Containment an old Halloween attraction and of course Loggers Leap which was replaced with Hyperia.
No news on what could replace Slammer but if the plans are approved the ride could be removed for the start of the 2025 season.
