Thorpe Shark Cabins

The Thorpe Shark Cabins is Thorpe Parks first accommodation option for the resort. Originally called The Crash Pad, the hotel was added as a temporary option whilst plans for a purpose-built hotel. The plans for this hotel fizzled out over time and Thorpe Park decided to make the area look more permanent so themed The Crash Pad to fit with the Island theme with Surfboards, Fishing Nets and a giant shark sculpture made from signs from Thorpe's past. The hotel is provided by a company called Snooze Box who offers "pop up" sleeping arrangements for Festivals. In 2020, the Thorpe Shark Hotel was rebranded to Thorpe Shark Cabins.

The hotel consists of two floors in a straight line with a long corridor platform for access and is made from customized shipping containers. In terms of facilities, there are no facilities directly connected to the hotel, however as the hotel is within the Theme Park's grounds they open up The Dome, which is home to an Arcade and Finn's Bar and Grill which is where the guests enjoy their morning breakfast and can enjoy an evening meal/drink once the park has closed.

The rooms consist of a Double bed and a bunk bed arrangement (however the top bunk in folded in when not required) and has a TV (with a range of Freeview channels) with interactive apps such as Youtube and Spotify as well as games such as Angry Birds.

At the time of writing hotel guests are entitled to complimentary Fastrack until 11 am. This allows hotel guests to skip the queue on some of Thorpe Park's most thrilling attractions.
