Thorpe Park has officially opened for the first full day of the 2025 season, and guests will notice even more changes beyond what was introduced during the Annual Pass Day two weeks ago. From fresh signage to ride updates and even some Jigsaw doll makeovers, here’s what’s new:
General Park Updates
New warning signs have been installed on the bridge into the park, alerting guests to the drop below.
Staff area access has been further secured with new gates and signage, including a notable change to the left of the dome near the bar patio area.
The photo walls leading into the Dome have been replaced, giving the area a fresh look.
Hyperia Plaza continues to evolve, with new grass, tarmac, and fences improving the space. The area where last year’s show was held has also received a complete makeover, making it look significantly better.
Merch & Theming Enhancements
More new merchandise has landed in shops, with fresh designs for fans to check out.
Outside the Tidal Wave splash area, the floor has been repainted, removing old sponsorship branding for a cleaner aesthetic.
Over at Hyperia, a brand-new silver goose has been installed within the ride area, adding an extra themed element.
SAW Updates – Billy Gets a Makeover
The Billy puppet that used to be in the offload area as riders re-enter the station has now been moved into the loading area.
Meanwhile, the Billy doll from the batching gates queue line has been relocated into the control booth.
All of the Billy Jigsaw dolls throughout the ride have been given new hair, making them look fresher (and maybe even creepier).
