Wild One

A true classic, The Wild One had one of the most storied histories in American coaster lore. Originally opened in 1917 as The Giant Coaster at Paragon Park in Massachusetts, it was relocated to Six Flags America in 1986 and lovingly restored. The 98-foot-tall wooden coaster raced along 4,000 feet of track at 53 mph, featuring sweeping drops, airtime hills, and a massive 450-degree spiral helix finale. Its age and smooth restoration made it a nostalgic favorite among coaster enthusiasts, representing the timeless appeal of early 20th-century wooden coaster design.
