Conveniently located just off the M1, Dr Frights HORRORFEST 2025 is back and better than ever. Tickets start from £23 per person, with a £10 Fast Track upgrade that we would definitely recommend. Built impressively by just six people in only five weeks, this is one Halloween event you do not want to miss.
Entry & Layout
Fast Track is well worth the extra money – it saves a lot of waiting time getting into the event. Once you’ve passed through the first maze, the queues tend to move more quickly, so you can relax and enjoy the scares.
There’s plenty of space between each of the four main tents, making it easy to overtake slower groups (or those who’ve had a few too many frights!). The entire event is fully undercover, which is a huge bonus – especially with the unpredictable British weather. You’ll also find the Horror Bar and food stalls at the end, making it a great place to unwind after all the screams.
Facilities
Between each tent there’s a short break area, perfect for catching your breath and letting your nerves settle. About halfway through the route, there’s a small station where you can grab a soft drink and take a toilet break. Once you reach the end, you’ll find a lively food court, a bar serving alcoholic drinks, and a merchandise stall – the perfect end to the night.
The Mazes
Demonic Tent – Rock Neck Never Dies
Death Metal Manor – Prepare for killer riffs, killer solos, and killer demons! Once home to a reclusive rock legend, the manor now lies in ruin. But something sinister still lurks inside, as echoes of distorted guitars and demonic whispers fill the air. A brilliantly atmospheric maze with heavy metal energy and plenty of jump scares.
Rave from the Grave
A neon-drenched nightmare! You’re invited to a Halloween rave set on an ancient burial ground, but the beats soon turn deadly. With strobes, UV lights, and blood-soaked dancers, this satanic rave is both chaotic and electrifying. The production and energy are phenomenal – a real feast for the senses.
The Gore Tent
El Sangriento – Step into a hidden jungle dive bar, where the drinks are strong and the locals aren’t what they seem. This maze is visually stunning, with its Mayan-inspired set and reptilian shapeshifters revealed under eerie green light.
The Grindhouse: Blood Country – A backwoods horror straight out of Texas. From cannibal hillbillies to grotesque hunting games, this maze is relentless and brutal. The atmosphere is raw, grimy, and terrifyingly real. You can practically smell the smoke from the fire pits.
The Slasher Tent
Summer Camp Massacre – A nostalgic nod to classic slasher films like Friday the 13th and Scream. You’ll wander through blood-soaked cabins, encounter masked killers, and never quite know what’s lurking behind the next corner. It’s a must for fans of 80s horror.
Play Me and Die – A brilliantly creative concept. When a cursed vinyl is played on a local radio station, it drives the townsfolk to madness. The unsettling smiles and twisted laughter of the actors make this maze incredibly unnerving. The eerie soundtrack adds a perfect touch.
The Clown Tent – Killer Clowns’ Greatest Hits
An absolute highlight! The Killer Clowns return louder, gorier, and more chaotic than ever. From supermarket massacres to intergalactic carnage, this maze is pure fun – equal parts terrifying and hilarious. The soundtrack is brilliant, and the energy inside is infectious. We loved it so much that we went through twice!
Final Thoughts
Dr Frights continues to be one of the UK’s best Halloween attractions – and 2025 is no exception. It’s one of the few scare events that still manages to make even seasoned horror fans jump. The attention to detail, creativity, and passion that goes into every maze is outstanding.
Each year brings fresh layouts, new characters, and inventive stories, keeping the experience exciting and unpredictable.
