The countdown is officially on — Fright Nights 2025 is nearly here, and it’s systems go at Thorpe Park as construction ramps up across the park. With just 19 days left until the VIP media preview night, the park is transforming fast, and we've got some exciting updates to share.
Lucifer’s Lair – Stage Installation Underway
The stage for Lucifer’s Lair has now been fully installed. Speakers have been hung on either side, which suggests the sound design is going to play a major role in this year’s show. While there’s currently no sign of any fire effects, we’re expecting those signature flame bursts to be added soon. The setup is looking promising for one of Fright Nights’ hottest shows.
Creature Campus – Shock To The System: Bigger and Bolder for 2025
Over at Creature Campus, the stage for Shock To The System is up — and it's already showing some changes for 2025. The width of the stage has increased, giving performers more room to deliver a high-energy performance. Even more interesting: for the first time ever, the stage appears to be raised above ground level, which means better visibility for the crowd no matter where you’re standing. Along with new scenery being installed, this show is clearly leveling up this year.
The Crows of Mawkin Meadow – A New Layout Emerges
The Crows of Mawkin Meadow scare zone is also coming together nicely. More of the set has been put into place, and eagle-eyed visitors will notice hay barrels appearing at the entrance. The layout looks noticeably different from previous years, suggesting a fresh design for 2025. Whether it’s a new path or a twist in the story, this one’s shaping up to be a standout zone again.
Still No News on the Mysterious New Scare Zone
With just days to go, one major question remains: what’s going on with the new scare zone?
There’s been no visible construction or confirmed location yet, leaving fans wondering — has it been cut, delayed, or is Thorpe Park planning a last-minute surprise? Only time will tell, but we’ll be watching closely.
