Alton Towers Adds New Theming To Congo River Rapids

During the 2020 closed season, Congo River Rapids has had new theming installed. To keep in line with the African safari theme of the ride, new Katanga style theming has been installed to the queue line! 

Look out for the new mask and paddle features that sit in the bays of the waterfalls and enjoy some splashtastic family fun! This also, unfortunately, confirms that the waterfalls will never run again.
