Alton Towers Announces the Return of Alton After Dark for 2026

Alton Towers has officially announced that Alton After Dark will be returning for the 2026 season. The popular late-night event will run across the first three weekends of the 2026 theme park season, giving guests the chance to experience the resort after sunset.
Alton After Dark will take place on 14th–15th March, 20th–22nd March, and 27th–28th March 2026, with the park remaining open into the evening on selected dates. During the event, guests can enjoy extended opening hours and night rides on some of Alton Towers’ most iconic attractions, as the park comes alive with atmospheric lighting and a unique after-dark ambience.
The event has become a firm fan favourite in recent years, offering a completely different way to experience the resort and marking an exciting start to the 2026 theme park season.
