Alton Towers Begins Repainting The Smiler Queue Line Theming

With The Smiler turning 11 years old this year, Alton Towers is spending extra money on the attraction and has decided to repaint certain elements of the ride-theming. During the winter season, a lot of the rides were jet-washed and had a lot of attention. However, not everything can be done during the closed period.

Work on repainting some of the elements within the queue line has begun. Blue masking tape can be seen on some of the legs of the main theming for the ride. We can't wait to see how much work the smiler gets but it's great to see the park taking care of the rides theming and keeping the magic alive.
