LEGOLAND Windsor has officially reopened for the 2026 theme park season, although plenty of work is still ongoing across the resort as improvements continue.
A brand new shelter has been added over the outdoor seating area at Farmer Joe’s Chicken Shack, giving guests better protection from the unpredictable British weather. Meanwhile, the Lava Dragons play area has been removed entirely following the slide being closed for a long time.
In Pirates Landing, construction is still ongoing. The queue line and entrance sign for Jolly Rocker are being redone, along with new flooring throughout the area. There is also a new queue times sign for Pirate Falls, and the Burger Kitchen is receiving a retheme and makeover. Gold Wash has now returned and looks fantastic.
In Knights’ Kingdom, the castle is being repainted, and a new entrance portal has been installed which already looks great. There are also plans for many new LEGO models to be added around the area over the next few months.
The smoke and mist effects on Fire Academy are now working again after being off for years, bringing back an extra level of atmosphere to the attraction.
