Two weeks ago we reported that the installation of RAW Electric car chargers had begun at Chessington World of Adventures with a corner of the car park fenced off and pipes being run for new infrastructure.
It would appear that these new chargers are almost ready to be used!
A fleet of new chargers have been installed in the hotel car park. Signage for the new chargers can be seen on the floor waiting to be installed. Warning guests that these spaces are only for electric cars.
To use the electric charging points, drivers can download the ChargePoint App before use from either Apple or Android app store or pay via contactless debit/credit card using an RFID card.
New electric vehicle (EV) car charging points will be installed at five initial sites across the UK: Thorpe Park Resort, Chessington World of Adventures Resort, Alton Towers Resort, Warwick Castle and LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort.
