Tickets start from £22 per person, or from £32 if you want to include the enchanting Christmas Village experience. The highlight of the season is the Christmas Village, where families are guided by cheerful elves through twinkling paths to meet Father Christmas himself in his cozy grotto. Beyond the grotto, the Enchanted Hollow Toy Workshop comes alive with busy elves and sparkling surprises — guests may even receive an early Christmas gift. Visitors select a time slot for their Christmas Village entry when booking, though it’s worth noting that the village and grotto close from 25 to 31 December as Santa takes a well-deserved rest.

The festive spirit continues throughout the park, with a lively Christmas Pantomime full of laughter, music, and dancing, along with a glowing Festive Trail where families can spot hidden animals along illuminated pathways. Wandering carollers fill the air with classic tunes, adding to the warm holiday atmosphere.

Many of Chessington’s most loved rides and attractions will be open for Winter’s Tail, including The Gruffalo River Ride Adventure, Vampire, Tomb Blaster, Dragon’s Playhouse, and many more. The Zoo and SEA LIFE aquarium also remain open, home to over a thousand animals with special keeper talks scheduled throughout the day.

For those staying overnight, Chessington’s festive short breaks include a themed room in one of the resort’s hotels, with fairy lights, garlands, and even a Christmas tree to keep the holiday spirit glowing.
