Construction for Thorpe Park's Fright Nights 2024 is well underway, with exciting developments happening across the park. Legacy Plaza has been packed up, and in its place, the tent for the "Stitches" maze has been installed, with props and walls delivered and ready to be set up.
Meanwhile, over at the Slammer site, work on a new maze continues. The previously seen wood outside has nearly disappeared, although the theme and details of the maze remain under wraps. There are hints that the new maze might have an entrance leading to the old Black Mirror maze space via the beer garden. With Slammer possibly being removed during the closed season, it’s possible the park could be investing in new infrastructure to give this maze a more impressive and larger entrance than we've seen in the past.
Over at the "Trailers" attraction, rumors suggest some internal work might be happening in some rooms—possibly signaling new management. Could the legendary Creek Freak be making a comeback, replacing the Big Top room? New wooden walls have also been spotted on a trolley next to the entrance of the maze, hinting at further changes.
Unfortunately, it appears that Death's Doors won’t be returning this year. By now, something would normally be under construction beneath the Nemesis Inferno lift hill, but there’s no sign of it for 2024.
In addition, no work has started on the Crows scare zone, with the old Saw Alive plaza still open to guests. The Amity High dance flash mob show space also remains empty, with no signs of Fright Nights preparation yet.
Survival Games remains set up and ready to deliver its scares for the 2024 season, with posters in the plaza area still up from previous years.
