Launch Pad at Blackpool Pleasure Beach Construction Update

Exciting progress is being made on the Launch Pad at Blackpool Pleasure Beach! As the park kicked off its 2025 season, visitors spotted a worker high up at the top of the tower, continuing the latest phase of the ride’s construction.

One of the most noticeable updates is the installation of new pipes inside the tower, bringing the project one step closer to completion. The top of the tower is now back in place, further adding to the ride’s transformation. Meanwhile, parts still waiting to be installed can be seen at the bottom, suggesting that work is far from over.

The ride's new colour scheme looks fantastic, giving it a fresh and modern look, though the old signage remains in place for now. With scaffolding still surrounding the structure, all signs point to a possible June reopening—but we'll have to wait for an official announcement.
