More Nemesis Track Delivered And Installed

Alton Towers
Monday 1st May 2023

Trucks continue to arrive at Alton Towers with more sections of Nemesis track and supports. Being delivered by the Phalanx the trucks are being stored in the car park by Air. Closely guarded these trucks are shrouded by fences so no one can disturb the Nemesis experiments going on by Phalanx.

Since our last look at the first section of the track being installed more sections have been installed going into the tunnel. And work on the final inversion has started, supports have been installed and bits of track for the inversion can be spotted on the truck and placed around the area ready to be installed during closed hours. Due to the location of these bits of track, everything is being done outside of theme park hours due to site access and track being lifted over the monorail and close to other ride areas.

Around the rest of the site, work continues on building new foundations for supports. Parts of the break run can also be seen on the floor of the break run, we expect these will be replaced with new parts closer to the ride testing etc.

It's amazing to see old and new Nemesis tracks bolted together. We cant wait to see what the park does to blend in the new and old track. The custom-painted sections of the track look amazing in person and the photos just don't do it justice.

From the viewing platform, not much can currently be seen but it won't be long until larger sections of the ride are reinstalled.

Maybe we will see Nemesis Sub Terra return very soon too! With the rides pre-show seen testing throughout the day and staff going in and out of the building.
