Rapid Progress on Thorpe Park’s New Launch Pad Relaxation Area

The new Launch Pad relaxation area at Thorpe Park is progressing rapidly, with major developments now visible across the site. It’s impressive just how much has changed in the space of a single week.

Buildings are currently being installed, which will house future food and beverage units, adding to the overall guest experience. Preparation work for the area’s flooring is also underway, with construction crews indicating that concrete could be poured within the next week.

Fencing for the area has also now been installed, including along the bridge and around the perimeter, helping to better define the space as construction continues.

While no official opening date has been announced, the area is expected to be ready around May or June. There is also hope that the space may be accessible to hotel guests during the evening, offering a new way to relax after a day in the park.

Once completed, Launch Pad is set to become a fantastic new addition to Thorpe Park.
