Alton Towers has confirmed today that the Retrosquad rides will leave the resort after the final day of the season on Sunday 5th November.
For those unaware, the "Retrosquad" are the collective name of three temporary "traveling" rides with two in X-Sector and one in Forbidden Valley, that first came to the resort in 2020, to help with capacity during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic when many rides and attractions could not operate and most on reduced capacity.
Whilst they served their purpose during that period, they did feel out of place in well-themed areas of the park. Mission Complete Retrosquad!
