Second Launch And Helix Installed For Jumanji Rollercoaster

Chessington World Of Adventures
Saturday 10th December 2022

It's a cold winter's day at Chessington however the cold isn't stopping progress from being made at The World Of Jumanji. Work continues around the site to install planting, fences, sections of track and the first section of theming.

A large black snake has been installed facing towards the area in a corner next to the station. This is the first piece of theming to be installed in the area after the large jaguar was built during the 2022 theme park season.

Looking into the rollercoaster station work on the console for the rollercoaster looks to have begun with a section of the wall cut out for a large window to be installed. The station still remains exposed to the elements however the front of the station facing towards the main section of the track appears to now be being themed and worked on. Currently, the station side is pink but this should be an undercoat from what we understand.

The biggest progress made is a second launch section of track has been installed along with work on installing the helix around the jaguar making good progress. Lots of sections of track can still be seen in the compound and Zebra car park which appears to be being used for staff during the Christmas event winters tail.

It's the final push before Christmas! We wonder how much more progress will be made before 2022 is out. It would appear that workers might be working around the site during weekends with construction workers spotted around the site and the site compound.
