Thorpe Park Reveals New Logo And Branding

Thorpe Park
Thursday 30th November 2023

Breaking news! Thorpe Park has tonight released its new Logo.

The infinity symbol is now gone and has been replaced with a more streamlined logo consisting of the words “Thorpe Park”

Along with the new logo a new tag line has been released "Home of feel-good thrills"

This logo is more stripped back than we thought the new logo might look like but we really like it. The new logo reminds us a lot of the Drayton Manor rebranding. It's going to take some getting used to seeing this new logo but change is good! Over the past few years, the park logo has been incorporated into events such as Mardi Gras, Carnival, Ookboterfest and of course Fright Nights. We now wonder if those events might receive a new logo following the new branding of the park.

This new logo was revealed during a series of videos revealed on the park's YouTube channel over the past 3 nights. The park has been going through old branding and logos showing off Thorpe Park’s rich history.

A New Era for Thorpe Park!

In 2024 we’re opening ‘Hyperia’ – the UK’s tallest and fastest coaster and launching a brand-new vibrant land for all the family – ‘Big Easy Boulevard,’ inspired by the easy breezy New Orleans lifestyle.

This monumental year marks the introduction of a dynamic new brand identity, propelling us into the next era of exhilaration! Behold the all-new Thorpe Park logo, a fusion of our rich heritage and a vibrant spectrum of colours that vividly embodies our vision. Explore the details below to dive deeper into the excitement!

Feel-Good Thrills

We’re on a mission to become the home of ‘Feel-Good Thrills’ but what does that mean exactly? Well, it’s simple – we want every person who visits Thorpe Park to leave feeling oh so good! And who doesn’t want that!? Thorpe Park is a place for everyone, we want you to strip your cares away and set yourself free – no matter who you are!

Unapologetically Authentic

We’ll say it how it is, no sugar coating, no corporate jargon – just the naked truth. Information is upfront and freely available, so the only surprises on the day are good ones! Honesty works both ways, we want our guests to give genuine feedback, and we’ll act on it. We’re on a forever journey to make Thorpe Park the very best it can be for everyone.

Full On Colour!

Our fresh colour palette is a vibrant homage to some iconic Thorpe Park attractions. Channelling the vibrant red of Stealth, the cool teal tones of Colossus, and a splash of blue inspired by our water rides, we've seamlessly woven in additional hues from across the park. The result is a bold and captivating palette that encapsulates the spirit of Thorpe Park.

Six Dynamic Patterns

We've crafted a collection of vibrant patterns that take cues from our freshly designed logo, the iconic silhouette of Stealth, and a subtle homage to the classic infinity loop. Our snazzy new patterns are here to bring some razzle-dazzle, giving our brand and merchandise an extra dose of pizzazz.

Bringing the Brand to Life

We’re right at the start of the journey, so you may see some classic Thorpe Park logos and colours around for a little while longer, but here’s a sneak peak of what the future may look like!

A Thrilling History

Thorpe Park opened its doors for the very first time on May 24th, 1979 – making us one of the oldest UK theme parks. The park has transformed dramatically over the past forty-three years, going from a quaint family day out to the UK’s most thrilling theme parks! Want to learn more?
