Gröna Lund is an amusement park based in Stockholm, Sweden and opened in 1883. This year the park is celebrating its 135th year of operation. The park is situated next to the water that surrounds much of Stockholm, providing impressive views when riding the parks many rides...
Speaking of which, The park is home to seven roller coasters as well as many other rides and attractions. As you look around the park you will see the twisted mess of the coasters as the rides have been heavily designed to fit as much as possible into the parks tiny footprint. The skyline of Gröna Lund changed last year with the addition of Ikaros, a 95m tall Intamin drop tower and is the second Sky Jump from the manufacturer which tilts the riders 90 degrees facing straight down before there decent.
As well as roller coasters and drop towers the park also features many fairground classics including a Ghost Train, a Dodgems and even a haunted house attraction known as House of Nightmares.
