Duel Christmas 2018

For Christmas 2018, Alton Towers opened one of its indoor rides, Duel, for the festive season. The attraction received a subtle Christmas makeover, with decorations such as Christmas trees, festive theming throughout the ride, and even some animatronics sporting Christmas cracker hats. While there weren’t any huge or dramatic changes, these small festive touches helped give the ride a seasonal charm. Having Duel open during Christmas was a great experience and added something special to the winter visit. The only downside was that the park was exclusively open to hotel guests, limiting access for day visitors.
