Exciting progress is underway at Alton Towers' "Project Ocean." The scaffolding has come down around the new concrete structure, revealing the foundation for what is sure to be an exciting new addition to the park. With the structure now fully visible, anticipation is building as we await further news on the name and theme of this mystery ride.
Meanwhile, work continues on a new pathway leading into the area from the hill next to "The Blade." This pathway is taking shape nicely and looks nearly complete, paving the way for the next stage of development. It appears that preparations are well advanced for the installation of a new flat ride, with the site almost ready for the ride to be craned in and set up.

Construction work for Project Ocean is progressing fast with walls for the new attraction starting to form. The new tunnel, which guests will walk under, is starting to appear. Themed signs warning guests not to climb on rocks and objects around the area have been added.
The landscape of Forbidden Valley is changing again.
No theming, ride name or type has been announced yet but we’re sure some advertising for the new attraction will start soon.

Foundations for the new flat ride in Forbidden Valley are well underway, with a base for the new ride already complete, with work now turning to the vertical sections of foundations.
A new underpass beneath the ride will be built to allow guests to walk under the ride to access Galaticia and the Bunker 94 shop.
No official news yet on when this ride will open or what kinda of ride it will be. But we're sure we might start to receive some glimpses and marketing. for the new ride soon.

Construction work for Project Ocean the new flat ride in Forbidden Valley has begun at Alton Towers.
A new construction site with black fences has been installed around the area. Site offices have been installed at the back of the site behind the Bunker 94 shop and early work on removing bricks and rocks has started.
No major ground works have started yet but with the project having a 15-week timeline it won't be long until this new structure and ride shoots up into the skyline of Forbidden Valley.

Big news for Alton Towers, the replacement for Funk’n’Fly (part of the retro squad) has been approved.
Project Ocean has been approved by the local council and Alton Towers is now free to build the mystery new attraction. In a new document uploaded to the council website, a sound survey has been uploaded where measurements from an attraction similar to Ripsaw were measured. Could this be the return of the mighty Ripsaw?
A banner at the old refreshment stand in the path of Forbidden Valley between Curse at Alton Manor and Nemesis SubTerra could be seen last year. Has the return of Ripsaw been teased under our noses for the past year?
The construction period of this new attraction is estimated to take up to 15 weeks.
