New For 2026 At Chessington World of PAW Patrol
Tuesday 3rd February 2026
All paws on deck - World of PAW Patrol is getting ruff-ruff ready! Leading UK family theme park, Chessington World of Adventures, has given fans a first look at the UK’s first and only PAW Patrol-themed land, opening spring 2026 - and it’s already looking PAW-some.
First look images unveiled today of the hotly anticipated new attraction - dedicated to the top-rated animated preschool series from Spin Master that airs on Nickelodeon and streams on Paramount+ - follow the installation of the iconic PAW Patrol Lookout Tower™, a real-life replica of the tower seen and played with by millions of children across the world. The Lookout Tower will form part of the new ‘Chase’s Mountain Mission’ ride, the attraction’s entry level rollercoaster.
The new images show PAW Patrol character, Rubble, who is overseeing the site’s construction, and Sian Hooper - Creative Director at Merlin Magic Making and the brains behind the new land - masterminding the finishing touches being put to the iconic Lookout Tower. This includes the tower’s pièce de résistance - the legendary PAW Patrol pup tag.
World of PAW Patrol will see PAW Patrol’s Adventure Bay setting represented in vibrant landscape theming across 1.4 acres, with the land’s storytelling drawing on the role of the pups in the community, demonstrating purpose and everyday heroism.
The £15 million immersive experience will include four thrilling rides – including the UK’s first ‘Drifter’ ride, designed to delight riders with sliding, drifting and skidding sensations – among a host of other tail-tagging fun and features. Each of the rides is themed around a beloved member of the PAW Patrol pack:
Guests will be able to hop onto Chase’s Mountain Mission, a high-speed rescue vehicle and entry level rollercoaster to help Chase and Everest save the day.
Soar into action by joining Skye on a high-flying rescue mission on Skye’s Helicopter Heroes, where riders are invited to climb aboard Skye’s iconic helicopter and take to the skies. With spinning rotors, panoramic views, and a mission full of teamwork and tail wags, Skye’s Helicopter Adventure is an unforgettable flight.
Become Zuma’s co-pilot and spring into action on the UK’s first ‘Drifter’ ride. Hop aboard a hovercraft and help navigate the waters from Adventure Bay to Seal Island on Zuma’s Hovercraft Adventure.
Climb aboard the bright red fire truck on Marshall’s Firetruck Rescue and hang on tight as it rocks and rolls through the streets of Adventure Bay. A high-spirited ride, it’s perfect for junior patrollers ready to spring into action.
Further details on what guests can expect when visiting World of PAW Patrol will be announced in the coming months.
Sian Hooper, Creative Director at Merlin Magic Making commented:
"Bringing World of PAW Patrol to life is a true labour of love. From the very first sketches to seeing the iconic Lookout Tower rise above Chessington, our goal has been to capture the magic, energy and teamwork that millions of families know and adore from the show. Every ride has been designed to make guests feel like they’re stepping into Adventure Bay — whether they’re skidding and sliding with Zuma or soaring sky-high with Skye. We can’t wait for families to join the patrol this spring and create their own pup-tacular memories."
Ahead of World of PAW Patrol opening, the pups are also now on the hunt for a pre-schooler to become part of the patrol and take on the role of the ‘PAWject Manager’ this spring. The once in a lifetime opportunity will allow one lucky PAW Patrol fan to give their ‘final approval’ on the new land before fellow patrollers experience what’s on offer.
The PAWject Manager’s role will include being the first to test out the rides as well as meeting their heroes in their new home. The winner will also receive tickets for their family to attend the opening event, a night in one of the five PAW Patrol-themed hotel rooms at Chessington, and other additional PAW Patrol goodies.
To enter, little ones, with the help of their parents, can submit their application at www.chessington.com/pawjectmanager explaining why they would be ‘PAWfect’ for the job. Entries are open until 23.59 on Wed 4 March and T&Cs apply*.

December Construction Update Paw Patrol Land at Chessington
Sunday 14th December 2025
It’s our first visit to Chessington for a few weeks and it’s our first look at the rollercoaster track installed for the paw patrol rollercoaster
The new rollercoaster looks great and we love the colour scheme. It would appear that blue fences for the ride area have already been installed. Along with paths for the area
Along with our first look at one of the flat rides installed.
The area is starting to look amazing now. With theming elements being installed across the area such as the blue bridge, characters on the mountains, and a roof has now been installed on the rollercoaster station with fake snow on top of it.
The shop and toilets has had some facade installed on it making it look like a town hall.
A giant metal framework around the area to inclose it and make it more themed is being installed. This will become a facade to theme the area backgrounds and make it like your inside the cartoon.
No opening date has been announced yet. But there’s still lots left to be done so we would expect this area to open around may time 2026.
Paw Patrol Rollercoaster Track Complete
Friday 7th November 2025
Chessington World of Adventures have shared an exciting update on their social media today:
“PAWsome construction update... see our upcoming brand-new PAW Patrol themed coaster go from its first piece of track, to the final piece!”
That’s right — the entire rollercoaster track is now fully installed, all completed in just a few days! The bright and playful colour scheme really captures the spirit of Adventure Bay, and it’s already looking fantastic.
We can’t wait to see the finishing touches come together as this brand-new family area prepares to open in 2026. This is going to be a truly PAWsome addition to Chessington!
Track and Supports Arrive for Paw Patrol Rollercoaster at Chessington
Saturday 1st November 2025
Exciting progress is being made over at Chessington! Track and supports for the brand-new Paw Patrol rollercoaster have now been delivered, along with the air gates for the station. Some sections of track and several supports are already on site, meaning this family coaster will be going vertical very soon!
Meanwhile, the rock theming around the area is receiving its final touches, including some detailed paintwork to blend over the joints and bring the landscape to life.
In the centre of the site, a brand-new metal structure has also been installed — this will form the base for the tower theming element, which is already shaping up to be a standout feature of the area. Once complete, this whole new land is set to look absolutely incredible.
That wraps up our final update for this theme park season — but we can’t wait to see how it all comes together in time for Chessington’s magical Christmas event in just a few weeks!
Paw Patrol Rollercoaster Takes Shape with New Mountain Theming
Sunday 12th October 2025
Exciting developments are underway at Chessington World of Adventures as construction on the highly anticipated Paw Patrol-themed land continues to progress this October.
Work has now begun on mapping out the exit paths for the new rollercoaster, offering the first hints at how guests will flow through the area once the ride opens. Theming is also starting to take shape, with large rock mountain structures being installed around the coaster site, signalling the beginning of immersive environmental detailing.
Over near the Go Ape car park, hardware for one of the new flat rides has been delivered and can be seen on-site, a clear sign that more ride elements could be arriving soon. The footers for the rides appear to be fully completed, laying the foundation for vertical construction in the near future. Meanwhile, the new shop and toilet block structure looks to be finished externally and now appears waterproof, with only interior fit-out work remaining. However, there is still no sign of any rollercoaster track or support structures on-site just yet. With so many aspects of the land coming together quickly, it’s likely we’ll see further major developments in the coming weeks. Stay tuned for more updates as Chessington’s newest land continues to take shape.
