Bluey Rollercoaster Station Installed at Alton Towers
Friday 7th November 2025
Exciting news from Alton Towers — the station for the world’s first Bluey rollercoaster has now been installed! Alongside it, new foundations have appeared across the site, and interestingly, they hint at a layout that’s more complex than what was shown in the original plans.

From the looks of things, the ride could include a helix or another dynamic feature in the middle section, rather than just a quick up-and-down layout. If that’s the case, this could make for an even more exciting and family-friendly experience!

Even better, it might not be long before we see the first pieces of track going up. And for those keeping an eye on theming — a large scaffolding tower has now appeared toward the end of the site, possibly marking the arrival of the first major themed structure.

Foundations for the brand-new Bluey-themed rollercoaster in CBeebies Land at Alton Towers are progressing well! From small gaps in the construction fence, we can clearly spot the footers being set in place, with the connection points ready for the supports to be anchored to the ground pins.

It’s not easy to get photos of the site from ground level, but if you head up onto Get Set Go Tree Top Adventure, you can catch a brilliant view over the area.

Postman Pat Removal Begins at Alton Towers
Monday 30th June 2025
Demolition work has begun in CBeebies Land at Alton Towers, as the park moves ahead with removing the Postman Pat ride. The ride system and track have already been ripped out, and blue construction boards have gone up around the site, signaling the start of a major new development.

The station building has been completely cleared, with the only remaining structure being the barn that guests would pass through at the end of the ride.

Although no official theme has been confirmed yet for the upcoming family rollercoaster, rumours are circulating that it could be based on Bluey, the award-winning Australian animated series that has become a favourite among young children and parents alike.

Fans are eagerly awaiting confirmation, as Bluey would mark a popular and fitting addition to the family-friendly attractions in CBeebies Land.
