Dad Dancing Video Goes Viral

Over the past few days a video from the Vamps gig at Thorpe Park Island Beats event has gone viral on social media. The video of a dad dancing in the crowd has been shared on Facebook and social media and has been watched over 2 million times on YouTube! Thorpe Park have today followed up the event by posting another video on their social media channels of Simons Jones (dancing dad) being invited back to the event to show off his top 5 dancing dad moves.

From the very start of this video going viral online we thought it was unique and that it was just someone showing off his moves. The media responded by publishing screenshots of the video online in articles and by putting photos in newspapers. With so much media coverage of the clip we started to become a little bit sceptical off if this clip was genuine. In the clip posted by Thorpe Park the actor that plays dancing dad Simon Jones says his real name. With a little google of his name it has come up with information of his acting career confirming that this could be just another pr stunt. Once again a very good job if this is just another pr stunt as it takes a lot to make a video go viral on social media.
