Europa Park Performs Paddington On Ice At Winter Wonderland

Europa Park
Thursday 21st November 2019

After a hugely successful season at Germany’s largest theme park, Paddington™ on Ice will, for the first time, be coming to the UK this festive season at Hyde Park Winter Wonderland – and you can catch him gliding onto the ice from Thursday 21st November 2019 - Sunday 5th January 2020.

Costing around £22 per ticket the show lasts for 45 minutes and features the same show that can be found at Europa Park in Germany during the theme park season.

Combing cutting edge choreography, stunning costumes and toe-tapping music you watch the journey of Paddington Bear as he travels by ship through the jungles of Peru to London. Meeting new friends along the way. Will he ever get to meet Mr. and Mrs. Brown at Paddington Station?

Yesterday some of the team went to the Hyde Park Winter Wonderland charity preview night and watched the Paddington on Ice show. We thoroughly enjoyed the Ice Show and highly recommend it. Europa Park has managed to bottle all of the magic and energy of the park and transported it to London for 7 weeks of cutting edge action. Every detail is key to the Mack family, the entrance to the tent is highly themed. Complete with a Christmas tree where you can meet Paddington Bear. Tv screens in and around the area show adverts for Europa Park and the events the park puts on over the year. We certainly hope the park being advertised in London will entice more guests to the park next year and for years to come!

The charity night at Winter Wonderland is held the night before the official opening of Winter Wonderland and works on a paid wristband entry (which then grants unlimited ride entry all night).

The TPG team had a fantastic time and managed to do a large number of rides by the end of the night. The best thing about this event is that all proceeds from this night (including the costs we paid for ticket entry) go to The Royal Parks Charity.

Winter Wonderland at Hyde Park officially opens today and runs through till early January 2020.
