Fright Nights September 2025 Construction: New Layouts, Posters & Teasers

Thorpe Park
Saturday 6th September 2025

As we move into September, Fright Nights preparations are ramping up in a big way across the park. With just weeks to go before opening night, construction teams have been busy behind the scenes bringing mazes, scare zones, and walkthroughs to life.

Here’s everything we’ve spotted so far:

Stitches – Looking Nearly Complete

Over at Stitches, construction looks to be pretty much finished. The entrance façade is now in place, giving us our first proper look at the exterior of the maze, and lighting rigs have also gone in – suggesting that interior work and tech setup are well underway.

The Crows of Mawkin Meadow – New Layout Incoming

A returning favourite, The Crows of Mawkin Meadow, is undergoing some noticeable layout changes this year. Most significantly, the large barn – previously mid-way through the walkthrough – is now being constructed at the end of the attraction. Work is still in the early stages here, but it’s clear this will alter the flow and feel of the experience.

Deadbeat

Deadbeat has had a bit of a visual refresh. New posters have gone up on the entrance portal, and a new banner has been installed around the pre-show tent reading:

“Last Night on Earth Party This Way”

It’s already looking much more polished than it did at the start of Fright Nights last year, and the added theming is definitely setting the tone for what’s to come inside.

Trailers – Director’s Cut Posters Still Up

Over at Trailers, queue line posters teasing scenes from inside the maze have now been installed. Interestingly, the “Director’s Cut” branding is still clearly visible, which could be a sign that The Director is returning again for 2025. Whether this is a full narrative continuation or just a nod to past years remains to be seen – but it’s certainly one to watch.

Still Quiet On Some Fronts

While several areas are well into construction, there’s still no sign of any visible work for Lucifer’s Lair or Creature Campus: Shock to the System. We’re also still waiting for any clues about the new scare zone that’s been teased – with no sets, props, or signage spotted just yet.

Improved Phone Signal on the Way?

In an unexpected but welcome development, a temporary mobile phone mast has been installed behind Stealth. While it doesn’t appear to be active just yet, once switched on, this should make a big difference to signal strength around the park – especially helpful on those busy Fright Nights evenings when connectivity can take a hit.

That wraps up this week’s update — and with construction moving quickly, we’re expecting more changes and reveals very soon. Keep your eyes peeled as the build-up to Fright Nights 2025 continues…
