Hyperia Queue Line Installation Continues And Second Train Testing Begins

Thorpe Park
Sunday 28th April 2024

Attention to detail is critical at Hyperia. Since our update last week, a small issue has been corrected. The "Find Your Fearless" signage on the maintenance bay has been centred. It's great to see the park looking at comments and correcting small things like this.

The splashdown water effect is being installed. Water spray effects can be seen on both sides of the splash-down section. This effect is going to look fantastic. It would appear that fresh water will be used for this effect rather than pond water.

The installation of the queue line for the rollercoaster also continues around the site. With Fence posts installed around some of the area. It's going to be a long queue for open day and open weekend so we expect the park will loop the queue down towards Trailers to help contain it. We wouldn't be surprised if the queue line for trailers is used for the first few days.

A huge delivery of golden fence panels can be seen next to the shop.

It would appear that some of the metalwork for the entrance into the queue line has been delivered and is waiting to be installed. A pair of golden wings will be the entrance into the queue line for Hyperia. There's no sign of this theming yet but it shouldn't take long to install.

Not a lot of testing took place yesterday when we were at Thorpe Park (27th April 2024) however both trains for the rollercoaster were on track. Mack Enguigners could be seen filling up water dummies for the second train to test. When leaving the park we saw from a distance the rollercoaster testing. Exciting times are ahead, with two trains on the track you will be able to see the ride test more often.

Shout out to the roaming entertainment team for hyping up everyone waiting for the ride to test.
