Ice age 4D coming to Alton Towers in 2012

Alton Towers Resort is gearing up for an exciting 2012 season with some major new attractions. Alongside the launch of the new Nemesis ride, the resort will debut a thrilling Ice Age 4D experience in the Cloud Cuckoo Land Theatre. This new 4D cinema will feature 3D footage inspired by the third Ice Age movie, enhanced with a range of physical effects to immerse guests in an ultra-cool, action-packed adventure.

Adding to the Ice Age theme, two new themed bedrooms will be introduced at the Splash Landings Hotel, offering fans a unique overnight experience. With these updates, Alton Towers has phased out the Go!Go!Go! Show—an entertainment option that appealed to children but was less popular with adults.
