Knights Kingdom at Legoland Windsor is currently undergoing a full repaint of the castle that hosts The Dragon rollercoaster, shop, and food restaurant. As the centre point of the area, the castle has weathered over the years and was starting to look a bit old and disheveled in some areas. Wooden shields that are also mounted on the sides of the castle appear to be getting refreshed.
As shown in the photos, only certain parts of the castle have been repainted. There is a clear comparison between the old paint and the new, looking much better now.
We're a big fan of the new different coloured bricks on the castle walls, changing the tops of the tiles from black to a bright blue colour. We would expect the queue line for the Dragon will also get a small makeover, to ensure that the high standards of The Lego Group are maintained.
