LEGO MYTHICA December 2020 Construction Update

Legoland Windsor
Friday 4th December 2020

Work on the new area at Legoland Windsor Resort, LEGO MYTHICA is fully underway. And since our last visit to the park, huge changes have happened!

The building that contains the flying theatre is now watertight and has the brand colours of LEGO MYTHICA. It appears that the building will no longer be fully themed and will just have some sections on the front. The only sides of the building seen are the front and back, the sides can only be seen when on Mias Riding adventure and on your drive into the park. On the front of the flying theatre building, 4 holes can be seen for what we think is a mount for the rides signage.

A large Dragon themed slide has been installed in what we think will become a brand new play area. Towering over everything else in the area, it looks amazing and we cant wait to see what other items of equipment are installed.

Work on building a new entrance portal into the area has also begun! A giant curved structure has started to be installed near the entrance to the area by heart lake city. This structure appears to have some segments that include lego and others that don't. It looks like it could be a hybrid of both themed concrete and Lego. Work is also being done to retheme the old fish and chips shop. The outside of the building has been coated in concrete and is having some cool signs engraved into it.

At the old Squid Surfer site, new queue line fences have been installed and the scaffolding around the rides rock work has been taken down. The rides theming now looks very spooky and grey.

New structures are being built around the site, for what we think will become some photo booths or new game stands. No sign of the two new drop towers yet, however, we think these will arrive quite soon!
