The countdown is officially on — just one week today, Fright Nights returns to Thorpe Park, and final preparations across the park are reaching their final stages. From upgraded scare zones to all-new show experiences, here’s a full rundown of what’s been happening:
Lucifer’s Lair
One of the biggest upgrades this year — the stage has been fitted with new lighting and fire effects, and a mini stage has been built next to the tech booth. In front of it are cages and a towering metal cross, creating a striking new visual. With significantly more lighting than last year and new fire effects on the metal trusses, this scare zone has been seriously levelled up for 2025.
Trailers
Final touches are being added with signage now installed, and the queue line jet washed to give it a refreshed look just in time for opening.
Deadbeat
The queue line has been reinstated, confirming its return and setting the stage for more high-energy horror from this crowd favourite.
The Crows of Mawkin Meadow
Near SAW: The Ride, the entrance to this atmospheric scare zone has been themed with hay bales and new signage. A queue line is also being set up, suggesting an even more immersive and structured experience this year.
Creature Campus: Shock to the System
Located near Stealth, the show is shaping up to be one of the most ambitious yet. Lighting poles have been installed, and ongoing stage construction hints at a high-energy, high-tech production. Early signs point to this being a big step up from previous shows in the area — one to watch!
Stitches
The queue line is now in place, complete with themed barrier covers to enhance immersion right from the start. Final details are being added to bring this twisted experience to life.
Elsewhere in the Park
After being fenced off for several weeks, the pathway outside the Megastore is being resurfaced — a small but welcome improvement to park flow just in time for Fright Nights.
