Back in September in 2014 Thorpe Park announced on their Facebook and Twitter page that the Flying Fish was to shut early for maintenance. This sparked theme park enthusiasts into overdrive starting a rumour that the park could be opening for February half term in 2015. The park used to run a event called “Thrill Chill” a couple of years ago however this event was stopped due to unknown reasons.
Today the park have confirmed on their Twitter and Facebook page that the park will be opening from February 14th till 22nd February 2015. The park has said that Standard Merlin Annual Pass holders will have to pay a small fee with Premium and V.I.P pass holders gaining free access with a pre booked ticket. The event with be launched with the return of Brainiac LIVE! It is currently unknown if the show will be hosted in the dome or in its pervious located in the building which housed Studio 13 for Halloween. The line up for the event is yet to be confirmed however the park have said that it will most likely be The Swarm, Stealth, Angry Birds Land and others. Tickets can be pre booked soon.
