Chessington World of Adventures has been busy adding exciting new theming to the Vampire queue line in celebration of the ride’s 35th anniversary! Fans of the iconic coaster will be delighted to see a mix of fresh details and nostalgic nods to the park’s past.
One of the most exciting additions is the return of the original Transylvania entrance sign, bringing a wave of nostalgia for those who remember the ride’s early days. Around the queue line, adventurers will notice classic vampire deterrents like crosses and garlic, setting the eerie mood before they board their flight through the night.
A particularly intriguing new scene is a garden party, adding an unexpected but fittingly gothic twist to the waiting experience. Chessington has also reinstalled gravestones, each with references to past attractions such as the much-loved Professor Burp’s Bubbleworks and the mischievous Dennis the Menace from Beanoland. These additions serve as a tribute to Chessington’s rich history while enhancing the immersive queue experience.
