The star of 2024's Fright Nights is the all-new maze Deadbeat. Built from scratch under the code name “Project Sophie,” this maze delivers a unique, high-energy experience that captivates from the moment you enter. With the queue line music featuring “Murder on the Dancefloor,” the tone is set for a wild ride. Inside, the theming is truly next-level—there’s so much detail packed into the environment that you won’t know where to look. With props like fruit machines, stripper poles, two-way glass, drinks, lights, and the best music we’ve ever heard in a maze, Deadbeat offers an experience like no other.

A standout feature is the new special effect—a sliding actor on a rail hanging above guests, moving back and forth to scare visitors from above. The creative use of smells throughout the maze, starting with a fishy odor as you enter, adds another layer of immersion. We loved spotting fun Easter eggs like the guest list in the second room featuring famous names like “Death” as party attendees. The actors' costumes and makeup are superb, and the strobe-lit finale where actors climb on cages is nothing short of spectacular. Deadbeat is a fantastic new addition, and it’ll be exciting to see how guests react over the coming weeks.
