Professor Screamore's SkyWinder

Originally known as Mind Eraser, this suspended looping coaster was later rethemed as Professor Screamore’s SkyWinder to fit the park’s steampunk-inspired “SteamTown” area. Built by Vekoma, the ride sent guests through five inversions—including a roll-over and double corkscrew—after climbing a 109-foot lift hill. Riders sat with legs dangling beneath the track as they twisted through the compact course at 50 mph. Though its layout was standard for its model, the new theme and storytelling elements refreshed the experience, turning a dated head-banging ride into a quirky tribute to a mad scientist’s flying machine.
