Entrance Signage Spotted
Saturday 14th March 2015
Signage for I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here has been spotted today with the “I’M A Celebrity” section of the name spotted on bits of wood on the floor with silver glitter for the letters. We believe the signs will be put on the roof of the Showcase venue, the queue line is also processing well with more painted wood for the queue spotted on site. The exit for the attraction looks to end with a tunnel down into the Nemesis Inferno shop which has been given a makeover with bark for the floor and a range of I’m A Celebrity merchandise for sale in the Nemesis shop.

Work Progress Update
Saturday 7th March 2015
Work on Im A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here Maze seems to be progressing well with fake moss added to the roof of the building. A mini cooper car has been parked outside the entrance for the attraction with the queue line currently being constructed on the old miss’s hippos safari site. Launching with the new attraction is Bush BBQ a retheme of the Calypso BBQ. Theme Park Guide will be attending the press night for the attraction and we will be posting updates live from the event on our Facebook Page. The on-ride photo booth for Nemesis is currently closed for renovation work, we believe that this could be to due with the Im A Celebrity attraction? Possibly with a photo opportunity throughout the experience.

I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here Maze
Thursday 12th February 2015
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here Maze new for 2015. Thorpe Park Resort has teamed up with ITV to bring the smash hit TV series to an interactive attraction. The maze will be a themed walkthrough experience where guests can take on three bush tucker trails. Starting off at the campsite where contestants will be greeted by a video of Ant & Dec. The maze will be full of interactive challenges inspired from the show such as Holey Moley and Calamity Cave, with the finale of Celebrity Cyclone the most famous of challenges.

The maze will be based in the showcase building which has previously housed The Asylum, Studio 13 and Brainiac LIVE. The attraction has been designed so that is suitable for family audiences and has been given the age restriction of 8 and above. Navigating through dark caves and crawly corridors camp mates will experience high tech special effects to bring the jungle to life including leg ticklers that simulate the feeling of being covered head to toe in bugs. Along with a vibrating bridge, moving trees and walls.

The new attraction will open March 27th 2015, will you pass the trails to become the next King or Queen of the Jungle?

Taken from the Metro Website:

Campers should keep their eyes peeled for Bush Tucker Trials where they will unearth the prized gold stars with the ultimate goal of course to be crown King or Queen of the jungle.

‘After thirteen years of watching I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! on the small screen, we’re delighted to offer our guests the chance to brave Bush Tucker Trials inspired by the hit TV show – you don’t have to be a celebrity to grab a slice of the action on our island!’ Said Claire Heys, Director of Commercial Brand Partnerships at ITV.

Adding: ‘And the good news is that we don’t expect any of our guests to chew on a kangaroo’s less palatable parts.’
