LEGOLAND Windsor Entrance Demolished as Work Begins on New Portal
Sunday 13th April 2025
The entrance at LEGOLAND Windsor has been completely removed as part of a major upgrade. The old entrance portal into the theme park has been demolished, with plans for a new one having been submitted last year.

Foundations for the new structure can already be seen on the right-hand side, while a square hole has been dug on the opposite side. Anchor points for the new entrance are already in place, giving a hint of what’s to come.

All of the old ticket booths—which haven’t been used in years—are being removed, with just one now remaining. Right now, the entrance area looks like a construction site, and frankly, it’s not what you’d expect from a premium theme park. Many guests are likely thinking the same thing: this work really should have been done during the closed season.

LEGOLAND Windsor Unveils Plans for a New Entrance Archway
Thursday 2nd May 2024
LEGOLAND Windsor has recently submitted a planning application to replace its iconic entrance archway, marking the start of an exciting new chapter for the theme park. The current archway, which has stood for years, is beginning to show its age and no longer aligns with the modern, visually striking entrances seen at other LEGOLAND parks around the world. The new design aims to bring the entrance up to date, enhancing the park's appeal and offering visitors a more memorable first impression as they step into the LEGO-inspired world of adventure.
