Work to preserve the future of the gardens at Alton Towers continues again this year with the Pagoda Fountain now under scaffolding following maintenance on it starting last year. Its believed this will finish by the start of the next season. Two years ago the Gothic prospect tower down by the Forbidden Valley Sky Ride station was cleaned up back to its original state.
Over the past few years the green house / conservatory building in the gardens has been left exposed to the elements with most of the glass smashed and the whole building looking very run down. This year it would appear its next up on the list to get some major work done to it. It will be great to see the building back up to scratch when the project is complete.
