Open until 9pm each day daring guests can face our head-spinning, hair-raising rides and attractions in darkness including Wicker Man and the Alton Towers Dungeon! If that’s not scary enough, 4 multi-award winning, terrifying mazes* are set to return...
In addition, older families will be able to enjoy the brand-new Trick o’ Treat Town*, an interactive walkthrough a special town where every day is Halloween and as well as treats, there are tricks aplenty! Plus returning for 2021 is the free attraction ‘Garden Lights Walk: Whispering Souls’, where the gardens come to life in a whole new spooktacular…LIGHT!

New For 2021: Trick O' Treat Town
This Scarefest get ready to explore a special town where every day is Halloween! And do you know what’s the townsfolk’s favourite past time? Yes, you got it! It’s to host Trick-or-Treating for the town visitors!
So, muster up your courage and prepare to knock on doors from Spooky Avenue all the way up to the Witchy Woods but be careful! As well as treats there are tricks aplenty!
Interactive walkthrough recommended for those aged 8+.
Freak Show: Toxic Junkyard
After being hunted and chased away, the last of the Freak Show have gone into hiding, plotting in secret their next “BIG SHOW”. What for years appeared to be an old junkyard actually hides the secret that turns “townies” into evil carnies... Dare you volunteer to help stop their evil plan? Careful not to be captured though, or YOU will become the main attraction of the next show.
The Attic: Terror of the Towers
Around here, people talk of the Governess – how she’s haunted by the death of her young charges, how she wants revenge, and how she’ll take it by seizing the spirits of the living in retribution. They say her ghost haunts The Attic. That’s where you’re headed. Dare you risk your immortal soul?
Altonville Mine Tours
The ‘Skin Snatchers’, we call them. Outcasts, their whole family. Rumours are they lived in that old mine. It’s deep and dark and the damp inside gives you the proper shivers. Just recently some fool reopened it – for tours! Be careful: they say those Skin Snatchers have a secret too horrifying for words. Beauty’s only skin deep. Remember that.

Get ready for a terrifying new adventure aboard ‘The Mutiny’, a notoriously spine-chilling ghost ship. Hear that scraping sound? It’s gravestones being moved – the Alton Ancestors are back from the dead and in their favourite haunts. Standing still is not an option so celebrate Halloween by learning their dance moves and joining in!
