Fright Nights 2019 Final Look At Preparations

Thorpe Park
Monday 16th September 2019

Final preparations are underway at Thorpe Park for Fright Nights. Audio and lights have been testing for the new maze Creek Freak Massacre which appears to be almost complete with a new disabled access bridge now complete. New signs have been added around the old Loggers Leap building and a creek woods sawmill sign has been added to the roof of the old station building. We’re very excited to see inside the maze when it previews to press on Thursday 26th September.

Due to the location of Platform 15, we don’t know if anything new has been added however the ending of the maze appears to be bigger and more permeant. New posters have been added in the queue line which appears to be routed through some of the old Dead Creek Woods maze.

Sanctum Do or Die was installed earlier last week and doesn’t appear to have had a lot of work done to it yet. However, all that's needed in the maze is for a few walls to be installed as some of the maze is located inside containers and routed around big theming objects, for example, cars and the fire engine. All of the props used in the attraction last year are slowly making there way back in, the swings can currently be seen at the entrance for the maze and the stairs to get down from the bus are near the fire engine. Interestingly, the container with the maze name with it hasn’t been used on top this year and the old name on the container that had it painted on has been painted over in black.
