LEGOLAND Windsor has announced that LEGO Friends will be a new area for 2015, after there plans to the council to build a haunted house were denied. Printed on the 10th September 2014 - 3rd November the park map shows an advert saying “Arriving 2015” and on the inside of the map it has “Arriving 2015” in pink text over LEGO City. With the area being the central hub of the park and the Pirates Of Skeleton Bay stunt show on everyday we don't believe that they are going to close the area early for building work to commence.
Could be the end of Digger Challenge as it would be hard to theme it into a LEGO Friends attraction. If the whole area was to be given a makeover this could see the show be changed and the light house given a much needed makeover. The LEGOLAND Windsor website currently has no more information about this new for 2015 area however we will be on park over the next few weeks looking for further developments. Could this year be the last year of LEGO City?
