LEGO Friends Heartlake City will be opening at LEGOLAND Windsor Resort early summer 2015 featuring the popular franchise LEGO Friends. The area will revamp the LEGO City area with character meet and greets, a new live action show featuring all five friends and new attractions!
Whilst on park during the Christmas event it came to our attention that the lighthouse used in the stunt shows was surrounded by scaffolding. We believe that this is so that the lighthouse can be given some maintenance and repainted as the lighthouse appears to have some holes in it from use over the past few years. During our visit to the park it would also appear that the whole area will be repainted in purple and red colours just like they are in the LEGO brick sets. Whilst walking around the Kingdom Of The Pharaohs area we could see that Digger Challenge has become a building site with site safety notices on fences sounding the area. When looking through the gaps in the fence when walking over the railway line to get to laser raiders it looks as if the diggers have been removed. Could this be the location for a new attraction?
SGA Productions LTD produce the LIVE action stunt shows for the park and have recently advertised for the new LEGO Friends LIVE show which tells the story of the 5 iconic characters from the LEGO® Friends product line as they work together to stage a LEGO® Friends concert on the banks of Heartlake City lake. According to the document online the show will run up to 6 times a day and is a musical dance show which will last for 20 minutes. This could mean that the harbour show will receive some new effects for the LEGO Friends show! Audience meet and greets will apparently follow all performances.
The LEGOLAND Windsor website says, “We will be updating our website with further information about our exciting news for 2015 so do come back soon” We shall update you when more news is released.
