Lightopia Decorations begin to appear at Alton Towers

In a couple of weeks, Alton Towers will open to the public for the Christmas period, offering a select ride offering as well as a Christmas market with a variety of vendors with ideal gifts for the big day, however, once night falls, guest are able to see Alton Towers in a whole new... Light!

Alton Towers will host 'Lightopia', a light display that will feature props and decorations themed around the four seasons. A few days ago these appeared in the car park but on Sunday 7th November these have now began to appear within the park themselves, specifically in Haunted Hollow.

Although most of the props are covered up you can make out roughly what they will be, such as a mad hatter like character and flowers and even a doughnut!
