Merlin UK Parks To Reopen 4th July 2020

Thursday 4th June 2020

UK Merlin Theme Parks are preparing to reopen their doors after being shut since March 2020 due to COVID 19. Posted on the websites of Thorpe Park, Alton Towers, Legoland and Chessington World of Adventures is a notice saying the following:

We’re getting ready to welcome you back!

The health and safety of our guests and staff is always our number one priority and to keep everyone safe, we’ll be introducing a number of additional hygiene and safety measures which you’ll see in place when the Resort reopens.

We are determined to be here for you, your friends and your families, offering other worldly thrills and helping you create fantastic memories, as we have done for decades and will continue to do for many more. In line with current Government guidance, we are hoping to be able to reopen the Resort on the 4th July 2020.

Guests with pre-booked theme park tickets for dates when Thorpe Park Resort is closed will be able to use their tickets on another date during the 2020 theme park season (excluding FRIGHT NIGHTS and any other pre-advertised closed dates).  Please note further information for guests with pre-booked and promotional tickets will be published on our website prior to opening.

We would ask guests with short breaks booked between 1st June up to and including 3rd July to move their booking free of charge.  Please visit the Manage My Booking site to rearrange your booking.

We can’t wait to welcome you back to Thorpe Park soon!
