Monkey Swinger Downtime

Monkey Swinger at Chessington is experiencing a long amount of downtime this year, allowing us to get an inside look at how the ride works. 

With the ride needing extensive maintenance, the gondola for the swing has been lowered to the floor exposing all of the ride's mechanics and the centre of the ride. 

The issue for the ride remains unknown but during our visit to Chessington, engineers were working to put the ride back together. We expect the ride will be back up and running in the next few weeks ready for the extended theme park season.
